The Sentry 4607 is a slim, mount-on-metal tag that provides excellent read range in a low profile format.

The tag’s narrow width makes it easy to mount on a wide variety of small tools, weapons or instruments. Its low profile, only 0.070” thick, makes it ergonomically suitable for mounting on items that are used manually. Standard on this tag is our ViziCore construction which provides added impact and temperature resistance for use in these applications.

Using the latest technology, the second generation tag has an improved read range of 12-14 feet up from 8-9, and 20% reduced cost. Like all Sentry products, the 4607 can easily be adapted for applications involving overmolding/overspraying, embedding in metal. The tag is intrinsically rugged and can tolerate repeated exposure to high temperatures vibration and impact. Like other Sentry products, the Sentry 4607 can be upgraded to tolerate over 1,000 autoclave cycles.
