The Sentry 1005 is a small footprint, mount-on-metal tag that provides exemplary read range for its size.

The tag is only 10mm (0.4”) long and 5mm (0.2”) wide, but delivers a 7-9 foot read distance. Its low profile, only 3mm thick, makes it suitable for tagging metal items, like weapons, hand tools and other small metal parts. It is an excellent substitute for more expensive ceramic tags that are often used in these applications.

Standard on this tag is the ViziCore construction which provides added impact and Standard on this tag is our ViziCore construction, which provides added impact and temperature resistance for use in these applications. And, like all Sentry products, the 1005 III can easily be adapted for applications involving overmolding/overspraying, embedding in metal.

The tag is intrinsically rugged and can tolerate repeated exposure to high temperatures, vibration and impact. Like other Sentry products, the Sentry 1005 can be upgraded to tolerate over 1,000 autoclave cycles.
