Vizinex Restructures Team and Promotes Two to Support Growth

Vizinex RFID, the industry leader in developing and manufacturing high performance RFID tags tailored to specific applications, recently restructured its team to support the company’s growth and the increased demand for RFID tags. Promoted were Damian Wolfe to Engineering Manager and Jo Clemmer to Production Manager. In addition, Office Manager Bailey Sugden has expanded responsibilities.

Damian Wolfe joined Vizinex in February 2020 as Manufacturing Engineer and was previously employed by Eastern Surfaces, Inc. In his new Vizinex role as Engineering Manager, he oversees the manufacturing engineering and tag assembly departments. In addition to scheduling day-to-day tag production, Wolfe spearheads process improvement projects that help the company meet growing customer requirements. Wolfe received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Jo Clemmer has been with Vizinex as a supervisor since its inception. As Vizinex’s Production Manager of Tag Finishing, Clemmer manages the daily activities of the tag finishing team, which includes the testing, Service Bureau and shipping functions that ensure Vizinex customers receive their product as specified.

Bailey Sugden joined Vizinex in the first quarter of 2021. Her role as Office Manager recently expanded to include HR, production scheduling, inventory management and oversight of the order fulfillment process. Sugden holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, with minors in English and mathematics, from William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS.

“As the Vizinex team continues to grow as a result of increased demand for our RFID tags, it was time to restructure supervisory roles and spread out our management work,” says Sandra Garby, Co-Founder, President and Vice President of Operations, Vizinex RFID. “Damian and Jo have proven time and again that they were ready to take on full management of the tag assembly and tag finishing divisions of the business. Their promotions and Bailey’s willingness to add more responsibility will allow me to focus more time on new product introductions, supply chain management and productivity and capacity improvements to keep Vizinex on a projection of growth.”
