Vizinex RFID, the industry leader in developing and manufacturing high performance radio frequency identification (RFID) tags for specific applications and industries, is pleased to announce its launch of the new mount on metal UHF RFID tag, the Sentry 2505.
“The Sentry 2505 is tailored specifically for tool, weapon, rental and IT asset tracking applications due to its responsiveness in such a small and inexpensive package,” said Ken Horton, CEO, Vizinex. “For a tag this small, its read range of 8-9 feet is really remarkable. It’s footprint is only 0.20 in2, which means it can be installed easily even on smaller items.”
Measuring 25mm x 5.3mm x 2.4mm, the Sentry 2505 provides an exemplary read range of up to 9’ when mounted on metal. However, if the tagged object is long and narrow in shape, the read distance can be even longer. The tag’s ViziCore production provides a temperature tolerance of -58°F to 365°F and the ability to withstand severe vibration, along with impact and temperature resistance for use in tough environments.
