Vizinex Introduces Flexible RFID Tags for Asset Tracking

Vizinex RFID, the industry leader in developing and manufacturing high performance RFID tags tailored to specific applications, recently introduced two flexible, printable, on-metal tags that offer strong performance at a reasonable cost: 6012 Flexible and 6027 Flexible.

Both RFID tags offer mounting flexibility, are durable and are IP67-rated, making them ideal for tracking many types of assets in indoor settings. Asset tracking in factories, hospitals, data centers and offices is easy and cost effective with the RFID tags.

With a flat, label-style form factor and small footprint, the 6012 Flexible (60mm x 12mm x 0.8mm) is perfect for small metal objects where the mounting footprint is limited and a low profile is desirable.  The 6027 Flexible (60mm x 27mm x 1mm) has multi-surface capability and has excellent performance both on and off metal. The tags’ flexibility enables users to track critical equipment in challenging indoor environments.

Both tags are delivered in a roll format and can be printed and encoded on-demand using RFID enabled printers.  Customers also can elect to have Vizinex print and encode the tags for them.

“These low-profile, flexible RFID tags are a cost-effective option for asset tracking where rigid tags do not work well,” says Ken Horton, Co-Founder and CEO, Vizinex RFID. “While the tags can be preprinted, industries like health care, government and IT/networking have the option to print their own barcode or other numbers on the flexible tags.”
